Void dude takes a look at Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and talks a lot of shit about Jet Set Radio.
This video was a product of pure passion. It is vulgar, it is messy, it is exactly to my personal tastes, and very rough around the edges. Lots of little editing errors, poor audio, tasteless jokes about minority groups, those fucking watermarks, but overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I suppose I could have kept whittling away at it, and maybe I should have, but I think sometimes when you reach a certain stopping point with a project it's best to just say fuck it, and put it up already. And the good thing is I'll be taking all the lessons I learned, writing and editing wise, into the next thing I make, and of course, it feels very good to know that I can indeed work on a long term project and get it shipped out. It makes me very happy.
Bomba Rush Cyberclot is essentially a love letter to a particular type of internet review you don't see all that often anymore. Where the object in review is treated more like a vehicle for comedy rather than serious analysis. Think AVGN or The Nostalgia Critic, though I didn't grow up with those guys. Instead I watched the dudes inspired by them, mainly Running Shine and Quinton Reviews. Unfortunately, Running Shine hasn't made a video in three years, and Quinton Reviews forgot how to tell funny jokes after his co-producer left to join the Navy. That, and the stupid-long-videos gimmick is incredibly grating to me. So, I decided to make my own. I had a lot of fun putting it together, and I hope it shows!
Feel free to leave feedback if you have any. If nothing else, I hope someone somewhere gets something out of my crude sense of humor.
